42 kilometres North West to CBD Sydney and fenced by the local areas of Hills Shire and parts of Hills District, it is the Sydney suburb Annangrove. It was named after a house owned by Edward Charles Johnston called Annangrove House. His grandson also used the same name for his place.
This area was an industrialized with the introduction of timber cutting trailed by the orchards in 1880. the schools and post offices opened in the years 1896 and 1895 were also named after the suburb Annangrove.
