Canley Heights is a Sydney suburb located 31 kilometres south-west of the CBD in the local government area of the City of Fairfield and is part of the South-western Sydney region. Canley Heights derives its name from its sister-suburb, Canley Vale. Canley Vale in its turn takes its name from Sir Henry Parkes home that in mid-19th century he called Canley Grange.
Canley Heights do not have their own train stations, with the close station being in, once again, the nearby suburb of Canley Vale. This suburb boasts a large Vietnamese community due to its proximity to Cabramatta.
