Centennial Park is a large, beautiful public that occupies 220 hectares in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Centennial Park is also a small residential suburb. The lucky residents of that suburb get to enjoy all the park’s benefits as if it’s their backyard. Centennial Park was dedicated by Sir Henry Parkes in January 1888 in order to celebrate the first 100 years of European settlement in Australia hence, the name centennial.
