Huntingwood Taxi

Huntingwood lies within the local government area of the City of Blacktown, and is in the Western Sydney region. This suburb is predominantly an industrial area.

The name is a mix of 2 words; the first part hunting is thought to have come from the first English Style hunting believed to have taken place in the area and the woods from the Woods Estate that was owned by the Woods family for over a century that was within the area. The suburb is managed as a part of the nearby Eastern Creek area, along with neighbouring Arndell Park. Nearby suburbs include Doonside, Eastern Creek, Blacktown, Arndell Park and Prospect.

With the West link M7 and M4 motorways running through the adjacent suburbs, companies such as Woolworths Limited and Coles Myer have transport and logistics complexes just off the Great Western Highway. The easy access to Sydney’s main arterial road network makes it a prime location for warehouses.
