In the local government zone of the City of Blacktown, there is a suburb known to be as Acacia Gardens. It is situated 40 kilometres west of the Sydney CBD. It covers areas of the Greater Western Sydney region and southern end of the Hills District.
The name was formed in reference to the common shady acacia trees in the area. It also pictured the rural qualities of the suburb. Following this, the streets of Acacia Gardens have been after flowers adding onto the charisma of the area.
